IEEE International European Workshop on Prognostics and Health Management for Engineering and Computer Systems (PHM-ECS 2021)

Description

The objective of this workshop is to provide researchers and practitioners with an open forum for presenting and discussing their ideas and experiences with technologies, theories, and tools used for conducting Prognostics and Health Management of Engineering and Computer Systems.

The workshop will suffice to represent important topics in Prognostics and Health Management (PHM), but also provide opportunities for an in-depth discussion of theory and practice in selected areas. It will bring PHM experts from academia, industries, and government together to attain synergetic exchanges of ideas and lessons learned. In particular, it not only allows the PHM academic community to understand the areas that are vital to the industry, but also gives practitioners an opportunity to express their needs.

Topics

The list of topics includes, but is not limited to:

  • Design, Algorithms, and Implementation of Prognostics and Health Management
  • Quality Assurance, Testing, Verification, and Validation
  • Fault Detection, Prognostics, and Recovery
  • PHM for Cloud Computing
  • PHM for Big Data
  • PHM for Internet of Things
  • PHM for Safety, Reliability, Security, and Privacy
  • PHM in Cyber-Physical Systems
  • PHM in Avionics and Aerospace Industry
  • PHM for Large Complex Systems
  • PHM for Power Smart Grid and Green Energy Systems
  • PHM for Railroad and Transportation
  • Tools and Benchmarks
  • Case Studies and Applications

Submission

Authors are invited to submit original unpublished research papers as well as industrial practice papers. Simultaneous submissions to other conferences are not permitted. Detailed instructions for electronic paper submission, panel proposals, and review process can be found at https://qrs21.techconf.org/submission.

The length of a camera ready paper will be limited to eight pages. Each paper should include a title, the name and affiliation of each author, a 150-word abstract, and up to 6 keywords. Shorter papers (up to four pages) and industry presentation (with only PowerPoint slides) are also allowed.

All papers must conform to the QRS conference proceedings format (PDF | Word DOCX | Latex) and Submission Guideline set in advance by QRS 2021 co-located workshops.
