Paper Submission

All papers must conform to the QRS conference proceedings format (PDF | Word DOCX | Latex) and Submission Guideline set in advance by QRS 2021 or co-located workshops. They must be in English and in PDF format. Submissions that do not comply with the above instructions will be rejected without review.

Each submission will be reviewed by at least three members of the Program Committee and evaluated on originality, contribution, soundness, presentation and relatedness. The program committee as a whole will make final decisions about which submissions to accept for presentation at the conference.

IEEE Conference Publishing Services (CPS) will publish the proceedings. Accepted papers will also be submitted for inclusion in the IEEE Xplore and to other abstracting and indexing partners such as the Ei Compendex.

Selected papers of top quality will be published in a special section of IEEE Transactions on Reliability instead of the conference proceedings. This will speed up the journal publication of these papers.

Format and submission guideline

Submit original manuscripts (not published or considered elsewhere) with a maximum of twelve pages. Each paper should include a title, the name and affiliation of each author, a 150-word abstract, and up to 6 keywords. The format of your submission must follow the QRS conference proceedings format (PDF | Word DOCX | Latex).

Industry Track

There are two types of submissions.

  • Submit an extended abstract (not published or considered elsewhere) with a maximum of two pages. Each extended abstract should include a title and the name and affiliation of each author. The format of your submission must follow the QRS conference proceedings format (PDF | Word DOCX | Latex). Accepted abstracts will be published in the QRS 2021 Companion.

  • Submit a description of your talk on a selected topic within the scope of QRS 2021, including the title, the name and affiliation of the speaker, and a brief bio via email to Dr. Nick Multari. Speakers have the option to publish their presentation slides on the QRS website after the conference.

Fast Abstracts

The objective of fast abstracts is to report ongoing work, describe practical experiences, introduce new ideas to promote further validation, or state positions on controversial issues. Submit original manuscripts (not published or considered elsewhere) with a maximum of two pages. Each fast abstract should include a title and the name and affiliation of each author. The format of your submission must follow the QRS conference proceedings format (PDF | Word DOCX | Latex).

Posters

The objective of posters is to give their authors a chance to present their most recent work and receive feedback on their continuous research. Although posters may not describe completed work, they should at least summarize ongoing research activities along with preliminary results in a concise and easy to understand format. Accepted posters will be displayed at the conference. In addition, authors may submit a written summary (not published or considered elsewhere) with a maximum of two pages, which will be included in the QRS 2021 Companions. The summary should include a title and the name and affiliation of each author. The format of your submission must follow the QRS conference proceedings format (PDF | Word DOCX | Latex).
